Ah, Clyde's house doesn't get a number and a place on the map? Just to put it out there, I wouldn't mind being in the 60 area. I've rped my house/street before as being in a small row of houses and such, having a triangle of houses making up said street would be kind of cool. He wouldn't be the entire 60, just one square of it or some such thing. Also, I think it'd be a bit funny to be right next door to a bar. Though it might raise their insurance costs to have Clyde living next door, what with the Reimancy and the magic experiments going on in his lab...

Hi there folks!

I come to you with a slightly odd request. Due to a thread on the matchmaker forum by Verin Rush I've become highly interested into moving my current character to Ravok. As a follower of Yahal, it will be extremely interesting (for me at the very least) to see if he will persist in his beliefs or be converted...

As such I've been making arrangements to get Timothy from Kenash to Ravok swiftly. Problem is, I've been trying to reach out to Verin Rush but haven't yet managed to get a hold of him/her. Normally there'd be no rush, but as I would like to move out before Fall ends, the schedule is getting a little tight.

So my question is whether someone here would be interested in buying Timothy should I not manage to get into touch with Verin (or just if you're interested, ofc!)

Just to be clear, I haven't arranged anything with Verin yet so all options are still open. Point is, I would like to make sure someone would take Timothy on when he arrives in Ravok (should arrive in late winter, if I am not mistaken).

So, anyone interested? I hope this isn't the wrong place to ask...(I know about the matchmaker, obviously but I thought I might as well seek out all you Ravokians!)

First off, I believe Verin is actually leaving Ravok for Sahova on some kind of diplomatic/espionage mission for the Black Sun. So I'm not certain he'll be around late winter lol.

Secondly, I'd offer to help you in that regard. However Anna being who she is she would probably try to convert/indoctrinate Tim into following Rhysol. She is also more than a little abusive, mentally and physically. That and with Anna's past history with PC slaves I myself would be a bit jaded in accepting one as all that tends to happen is she wastes a chunk of change and they vanish/retire.

Still, if you want to try to work something out I'm always open to PM's if no one else has approached you.

Gods give me strength. A word of advice - give people more than a day to respond to initial PMs before you start copying them into messages to other people about your plans. Go wild, and maybe even give them two days, but one at least. And then, give them more than two days before you publicly offer allegiances elsewhere. I apologise for not responding in a more timely fashion but I've been away on a course and then, as luck would have it, fell ill. But if you'd given me time to respond, you'd have learnt that, as Anna said, Verin left Ravok on the 53rd and will arrive in Sahova at the beginning of Winter. I think my matchmaker thread even says that. Either way, I've already picked up a slave. Thanks for your interest, though.

It was not my intent to cause you to feel this way. It griefs me you interpreted my haste as impatience rather than neccesity, as that is why it didn't give you more time. My apologies for not having communicated that more clearly. I could try to explain to you why I needed to make a quick decision but I feel that would only elongate a needless discussion. You're clearly irked that I gave you too little time to respond and I can understand that. I think I would be annoyed too if I would be in your position.

Having said that, your assumption that I didn't know or comprehend that Verin had left for Sahova is false. I was keenly aware of that, which is why I posted this request as a back-up plan should I fail to get in touch with you soon.

Dear Verin, I really don't want any hard feelings to exist between us, I felt rather horrible reading just how annoyed you are. Again, I offer my apologies for not having communicated more clearly why I was in such a rush, just [i]know[\i] that it wasn't impatience. I can wait, and in any other circumstances I would have, I am afraid you'll just have to take my word for that.

I hope we can put this behind us and start afresh! Let's remember we both got (or seem to be getting) what we want! I hope to meet you in Ravok soon, I for one am just as willing to thread with you as ever !

Hello, all! We're days away from the end of the season and I'm seeing more and more placeholders being thrown up.. awesome! Those need to be up before midday my time on Monday (GMT) and if I see any after that time, I'll be deleting the threads Remember to update your ledgers with seasonal expenses too.

I'd like to remind you that your living expenses will be 10% higher this season due to the Fish Problem that Ravok currently has. I don't think we've had many travellers come ore to, but I'm gonna make this simple. If you've spent 45 days (half of the season) or more in or around Ravok, you will be required to pay the extra 10%. This applies to those who were here in the first half and then left too.

This does not mean that you can all jump down an Expense level. If you are earning, we expect you all to be paying at least the same expense you were paying last season in order to reflect the difficulty of living in Ravok at this time. Even if it means that you have to sell a possession in order to meet your expenses... and other STs should be aware of this and will be helping me to make sure you all play fair

The way it works out is as follows:
Squalor - 5gm =5gm, 5sm
Poor - 45gm =49gm, 5sm
Common - 135gm =148gm 5sm
Good - 450gm =495gm
Exquisite - 675gm =742gm, 5sm
