Hey, hey, everyone. So Hadrian has plenty of threads for the Farson Home right now, although if you want to be involved, PM me or Echelon. What I need for him are threads to do with his work at the University. So I'm trying to kill many birds with one stone since I'm on working holiday for another couple of weeks and my time is limited, but I want to play. I'm hoping for a couple of people to be interested in a thread in the Scholar's Forum, which will count as one of the Winter Challenges so long as we philosophize. There I'm hoping to pick up a student or two for Hadrian. He's not really the type to do big lectures, and would much rather mentor individual students. His focus is cultural anthropology, especially where culture and magic affect each other. His secondary focus would be theoretical magical studies. This is a university, not Hogwarts! I am not adverse to initiating people in magic or training them in magic (nor is Hadrian) if they have developed a relationship with Hadrian in which he feels safe in handing someone that sort of power. If a student shows good sense and a sense of ethics, he might accede to their wishes in that arena. But you're not going to have your character meet him and that day, or probably even that season, persuade him to initiate this stranger in dangerous magic. But yes. Let me know if you want to philosophize!

I've begun to play Lucas again, so I would be very interested in a thread with you, Hadrian. Lucas enjoys philosophy, although his philosophy can be weird, and he would also like to learn more about magic (he only knows a little bit of Voiding so far). I promise he'll act like a responsible adult if you agree to training him.

Nai'a, there are freshwater streams running from the foothills that surround Zeltiva and then into the bay, but there are no rivers as such down in the city proper.

Just a little heads up for you all, especially the newcomers, to go along with the Player's Guide I'm going to be doing some Videos on Zeltiva. The first is just a short overview of the city's overarching concept. Apologies it's a little rambly, but I hope to have some more detailed videos up in the near future.
