Having been born in Sunberth in the cold of winter, Timothy is of thin and bony appearance. Standing about 5”4 tall and weighing 95 pounds, Timothy will fail to scare mice, probably because he isn't quite unlike one himself. From underneath straw-like hair and light brows, Timothy gazes into the world with serious, sunken light-green eyes. Unable to discern mint from roses, even with his small, upturned nose pressed firmly into either substance, Timothy relies more on his hearing and puts his jug ears to good use. Hard work will visibly flush his cheeks and make his thin lips taste sweat, and his heart will swell the veins in his neck, for it is far bigger than his frame would have you suspect.
The only thing betraying his Benshira heritage are his unusually bright eyes, in every other aspect he takes after humans.
516AV Update
Timothy has grown visibily, though he still remains somewhat small for his age. Although having been subjected to various living conditions, the Winter season has seen him losing his bony appearance in favor of a more healthy build. His brows have thickened and his hair has darkened to a chestnut brown.

Timothy would’ve been a cheerful and bright child if the world and circumstances he was born into had been better. Though he still possesses the ability to think clearly and logically, his childish spirit has been suppressed in favor of rudimentary survival instincts. Smiling is a strange thing to Timothy and he finds it difficult to mimic the expression which he understands to be one of politeness, not joy. Underneath his seriousness and timid politeness lies an unquenchable desire to become more, to prove that he’s worth more than all the money in the world. In short, Timothy will come across as meek and timid, but his stubborn nature might one day unleash a defiant and rebellious personality.
516AV Update
Time has changed Timothy. He's no longer a meek little mouse. A stubborn, inextinguishable fire has been lit in his chest. Despite his misfortunes, he flat out refuses to give up on live. His morals have shifted. Though not one to purposefully harm others, Timothy will do whatever it takes to stay alive and make the most of his time on Mizahar. He has given up on his youthful desires to become a knight and instead has only two goals. One: to rise above his station in live. Two: to drag down those who have hindered him in life so far.

Worst of all was the waiting. The endless waiting...
003. History
A little mouse from a rat-infested city.
A little mouse from a rat-infested city.
Timothy was born in Sunberth as the child of a seductress called Stella Mered. The name or occupation of his father remains unknown to him as he was an accidental and not necessarily wanted birth. Tim's birth forced Stella to settle somewhere, and Sunberth, though dangerous, was the cheapest and nearest option. The group she had worked and lived with almost all her life didn't stop her, nor did they help her. Stella, while raising Timothy, did what she could to survive and sold her body for cheap. It wasn't pretty or thankful work and she no longer needed to use her seductive skills. The only happiness was seeing that soft-nosed face smiling at her whenever she came back home. Timothy didn't follow a formal education as there wasn't any money to arrange that. He picked up most of his language, particularly foul language, up on the streets. Still, his loving mother managed to teach him his letters.
At age ten, his mother fell ill to one of the many diseases that stalked the reeking, lawless city. Tim had to work his weight doing odd little jobs near the dock. Though his life was an uncertain one, devoid of playtime or friends, Stella instilled a sense of love and care in him that keeps him morally centred to this day. Aside from the heirloom his mother gave him, Timothy hasn't a clue who his father is. The leather band, with a carving of a goat dangling from it, is the only tie he has to his father. He often asked his mother who he was, but either she had forgotten or didn't want him to know. Nearly two years later, malnourished and cold with sickness, she had become so sickly and shallow that she couldn't speak anymore. The secret of Tim's father died with her.
On that unfortunate day, Timothy lost more than his mother. In his darkest hour, he ran towards the dock and fetched the help of Harley Fisher, the man he'd been doing odd jobs for. Together, they buried Stella before returning to the Mered home. Overcome with grief, Timothy accepted Harley's kind offer to come live with him until he came of age and could fend for himself. Out of options and out of money, Tim naively accepted. For a while, everything seemed to check out until one day, Harley took Timothy further down the dock, towards the slavers. Harley, in debt due to his drinking habit, sold Timothy for eighty gold-rimmed mizas and turned his back on the chained, whimpering child.
But Timothy, like his mother, was not one to give up.
Tim turned eleven aboard a Slaver’s ship heading towards Kenash. He spend days scrubbing the deck or picking oakum to stuff any leaks. Determined to live, not even a storm, killing three slaves, could bring him down. With all taken away from him, what was left was steely determination housed in a body that could and had endured more than most his age. His hatred for betrayal solidified his belief to become a force of good in the world. To banish corruption and sickness and to remain faithful to his one dream, to become a knight and travel the land in search of his father. No matter how far slavery removed him from being able to do either.
Post-creation
Timothy was bought on the 20th of Summer by Jed Radacke in Kenash. Their relation was rocky to say the least. At times, Tim would do as asked, at other times his Sunberthian side would act up and he'd become passionately defiant.
After two long seasons of servitude, Timothy was sold by a frustrated Jed Radacke who claimed the boy to be useless. Even though Timothy was glad to leave Kenash, he felt betrayed by the gruff Radacke who he'd worked hard for, when he wasn't having a fit at least.
Timothy ended up being dragged to another auction, but was freed along the way and ended up in Riverfall where he spent the first ten days of winter on the streets of Riverfall.
