Hi all! Ianthe is now officially taking refuge in Syliras.

I would love to write with you - particularly threads related to Ianthe teaching your character meditation (she's currently sitting at 35 XP) or your character teaching Ianthe horseback riding/some sort of weapons skill.

Ianthe can also look into your past if your character asks the right questions (thanks, Divination!).

Anyway, I'm open for threads and all. I would love some sort of combat thread or something where you could teach Stygi a cool skill - he'd love to learn. (I'm especially looking for a cook. He's not really all that used to cooked foods, so I think it would be a cool thing for a big beastling to get into.)

But yep. I may or may not start up an Open or PM to Join thread, probably something to do with training.

Hello folks!

Quick announcement.

We are making alterations on how Shield Points work. For now on a player will be eligible for two types of shield points: Normal Shield Points (ShP) and Sword Points (SwP). Very clever names I know. Shield Points will determine a player's prominence or notoriety in the knighthood. Sword points will act as a currency that can be cashed in for rewards and even quest tickets.

In practice this changes very little. For ever positive Shield point you receive from the graders, you get that many Sword points. That way when you use Sword points your reputation is not affected.

Another alteration is that the Staff will no longer be keeping track of the player's shield points. From now on Shield points must be kept track by the individual player on their Character Sheets. It is the squire and knight's responsibility to keep a thorough accounting of their Shield points and they must be clearly shown from what thread each individual point came from, both positive and negative. If a player is found to attempt to cheat the system they will be stripped of all shield points, ousted from the knighthood and banned from ever playing in the city ever again.

We will now have a public roster of who is in the knighthood and what their rank is as well, in place of the shield point list.
