Hello Syliras!

Just wanted to pop in and let people know I have a two-part job thread started and I wanted to invite a few other PCs to join in, though I'm keeping it open just for characters living at the Mithryn Outpost, or those inside the Knighthood (squires, etc.)

I have the thumbs up from Nightmare, so green light is go, and I'd like to explain a little of what is going to be going on in it. A large annual drove is taking two herds of livestock from the farms to the city for market before winter sets in. There are two separate herds consisting of heifers and steers, then goats and sheep. The drovers all consist of the farmers, farmhands, and volunteers from the Outpost, and the herds equal 100 head of cattle, 50 goats, and 50 sheep.

There are 4 knights and 4 squires along as rear and forward guards--2 knights in front, 2 in back, and the squires are moving back and forth along the sides. If any squires wish to join, I'd like to keep it at a max of 2. I planned on the drive running into trouble if any PCs from the Order came along so that they could get some experience and it wouldn't just be a boring ride along and social thread for them! I don't mind this being a solo though either--after all it's a job thread, but I thought I'd invite people to mix it up a bit.

Part 1 will consist of the start of the drive, possible trouble in the evening, then camping.

Part 2 is their arrival in the morning and handing the herds over to their buyers, the market, butchers, etc.

Anyone interested in tagging along I'd be more than happy to discuss ideas or even changes. Nothing is set in stone.

Question. Would this two parter, count as one job thread or two?

I had my fingers crossed that since it is two separate threads and they're likely to be a little lengthy that would count as both required job threads. If not, then poo but oh well. I forgot to even ask.

Also as a side note for anyone, both open slots for the thread have been filled!

Hey folks!

We will be entering into November tomorrow and that means 2/3rds of the season is gone. So just as a quick reminder, please be sure to get your job threads started! Everyone will be required to pay living expenses and that means if you do not have any job threads, you'll have no wages to counter act your living expenses!

To get full wages you will need 2 job threads.Additional job threads will net you seasonal experience which will be awarded when those threads are graded and the wage request has been processed. Please remember that Job threads must be at least 2500 words total. The typical method is to have 5 posts with at least 500 words a piece. As long as the thread has 2500 words, the amount of posts are flexible. This has also been added to the employment and wage request thread as well as the grading request thread.

Since NaNo starts up tomorrow, everyone has a good excuse to write all those fun job threads! Good luck folks and have fun!
