The Story

Radjutlas, meaning ''that which is imperfect''. He came into existence once excessive amounts of wild djed began to accumulate within an area. This pure djed that had accumulated within this place for thousands of years became so highly concentrated that it gained a unique kind of density... a sense of self. The end result of this unique and rare phenomenon was Radjutlas, who would then become to be known as Isikai which meant ''Faith'' in the ancient tongue and then later Noaru Draconaus in the common tongue. In the beginning, Noaru was incapable of speaking any language, but instead, he bonded without words with the flora, fauna, and ghosts, which were attracted to his presence just as he was attracted to the natural world around him. He was as wild and untamed as the beasts around him, interacting solely with the creatures, plant life, and souls; he was truly in-touch with the world, and could ’’feel '' the fluctuating energies that was the heavens (Ukalas) up-above, and the djed that flowed around him, and the feelings of the living creatures around him.

After some time had passed, Noaru saw that the world around him was quite different than he was. He noticed that things withered and died around him, while his appearance remained the same and he grew stronger throughout the seasons. Overtime, Noaru came to understand that this was death and that it would likely be no different for him should destruction, or his time approach.

Later, while wandering, Noaru sensed that he was unnaturally drawn to darkness and desolate places fit for the dead. He found himself accompanied by ghosts also, when he spent too much time alone in these desolate places, and later, began to believe such dark and forsaken places, places that were perceived to be haunted and eerie, were where he belonged. Noaru went on to believed that it was these places that birthed him into existence as well.

During the year of the approaching Valterrian event...

On the day Noaru was residing in a large cave, an elderly man approached him. The elderly man named Vasq, visited and spoke to Radjutlas everyday since he discovered him and despite being ignored sometimes, having small pebbles thrown at him and having to deal with Radjutlas's bad nature. The spirit was annoyed by the humans constant presence but eventually, gained something from the human... the ability to speak. Vasq grew on Radjutlas a bit and a bond grew between the two. The stubborn ancient spirit finally acknowledged the man's kindness and followed Vasq on journeys through beautiful landscapes and meditation. A long forty years later, Vasq passed away and was laid beneath the earth, Radjutlas's great friends soul did join him in the afterlife for a brief moment of time before passing onto the next life which brought joy and sadness to his heart.

The pain and misery he experienced during and after the Valterrian shattered his memories and darkened his mind. Noaru knew nothing of himself after the Valterrian ended. Inside a cave, his form could barely maintain itself and he wished for death. However, there was something that allowed him to hang-on: a precious memory of sorts. A series of happy images were his support and allowed him to endure the burning pain and the harmful divine djed around him. Noaru remained hidden and the cave he was inside was covered by ash, soil and other materials. The spirit rested for what seemed like years in darkness, waiting for his body and the world to heal.

A millennium before the Valterrian Radjutlas was simply a black cloud of soulmist and djed, which held a faint dark-burnt crimson tint. This form was unchangeable for a long time as he lacked the power and knowledge of being able to change it. Two hundred years passed before he could change his form to resemble a young man speculated to be in his early twenties. Six feet tall and brown in complexion with long black hair nothing, besides his deep, dark crimson eyes, would compel an onlooker to believe Noaru was not human. Unless he reveals his true nature or by magical means someone discovers it.

When Noaru materializes in front of someone, he will more than likely take on a human form as to not frighten the person who notices him. However, Noaru does not trust others easily and will remain hidden from strangers who seek to address him. In human form, Noaru looks as though he is wearing a robe that flows with black or white color. In white, his form flickers like a flame and in black his soulmist engulfs him entirely, concealing all his features, even his arms, legs, and feet. His soulmist appears thicker and tattered in this state and tends to flow eerily through the air around him as it extends from his body like tree branches.

Noaru's personality before the Valterrian was best described as whimsical and mischievous. The objects of his interest were usually animals, ghosts and humans. He was carefree entity, completely at ease with the world and himself. However, the introduction of war darkened his perception of things and birthed his hate towards humanity.

However, this darkness was suppressed by the kind actions of an elderly man named Vasq. Noaru became more forgiving and patient after spending an entire lifetime with this human and living his family. Vasq, The Spiritist, was warmhearted and Noaru learned a great deal about bonds and friendship.

Here & Now

While the hate Noaru harbored in the past is gone and he understands that by moving on, he can heal. Noaru still distrusts most individuals, since he knows of the evils and darkness that dwells within them.

The Valterrian has scarred Noaru and the chaos of that moment still haunts him from time to time. So, he avoids places and individuals that are not particularly stable. He is more forgiving and understanding, as he no longer seeks after obscure and dark things.

Noaru dislikes injustice, and those with arrogant, destructive, and manipulative personalities. Thieves and criminals have a special place in his soul as well, and he will treat them with utter most care, and ¨care¨ as in kill them on sight! Those who do not respect the cycle of life and death can expect the same treatment as well.
